Case File 035 - “I just wanna dance for somebody…”

“It is out of pure intention that an artist would want to express his/her talents to the world; but what if one was unable to express one’s talent before death, and was holding onto the dream and died of regrets, and what if this regret was held for a hundred years?”

A recent case brought me to a flat in Sengkang area, the North East region of Singapore. While admiring the newly built and designed flats, at the same time, I was checking out the environment for any opened portals.

When I reached the flat of the owner, Nathan, we were surprised with his home’s well-kept condition, almost of showflat standard. Nathan’s home was clean, well organized, and meticulous in every single detail from furniture arrangements to the entire interior design of the flat. Not many flats are as well maintained as this one - trust me we had visited enough to know.

So, the question comes, why does such a bright and clean apartment host a hundred year-old spirit? Many would ask, as it was always assumed that new places or homes should be ‘clean’ especially when the entire home is brightly lit by sunlight.

Well according to Nathan, the sighting happened after he bought and displayed a brand new Thai dancing doll from Bangkok on his recent trip, in his tenant’s room.

On the night, when Nathan’s tenant was about to fall asleep, he felt a presence at the foot of his bed; he opened his eyes and saw a lady figure in white looking back at him. He jumped out of bed and knocked on Nathan’s door, and told him about it. Nathan was surprised and told his tenant that he might be imagining things.

The tenant went back to bed thinking that Nathan may have a point.  But, in the middle of the night, he was woken up again; this time he felt someone sat by his bedside. He turned around, and saw the face of the spirit looking directly at him. He sprang out of bed, and went knocking on Nathan’s bedroom door.

Nathan opened his door, and his tenant immediately rushed in. Nathan felt weird and took a look at his tenant’s room and saw the spirit turning its head around and smiling at Nathan. Shocked by the scene, Nathan shut his door, and switched on his bedroom light. His tenant and him spent the whole wee hours praying, hoping they would not be disturbed or see the spirit.

The next day, Nathan  engaged a medium through a friend. The medium came and communicated with the spirit, but the spirit refused to leave, as her request was that she wanted to be with Nathan. The medium asked Nathan if he was still single, Nathan answered yes, as most of the time his quest to find his other half was always blocked or disrupted somehow

Then the medium told Nathan that she was interested in him and would not let him be close to anybody except her. Nathan, puzzled by the medium’s words, as he is gay and has no interest in women, or in this case a female ghost.

Nathan asked the medium if there was anything they could do to get rid of the spirit. The medium told Nathan that the spirit is more than a hundred years old and she insisted to stay. The medium advised Nathan to get rid of the doll, and then he took out a talisman and told Nathan to place it outside the bedroom’s walkway, hopefully this would ward the spirit off.

According to Nathan, the talisman did work for a few days, but it came back again after the 3rd night.

Nathan did not know how or who could deal with the spirit, so he asked around for help within his circle of friends. And that’s how he found out that I could communicate with spirits and clear negative entities.

So back to the part where I was at his home before he told me about the whole story, Nathan wanted to test me and see if I am the real deal, thus, he did not mention about which room the spirit was in or about the doll.

I walked along the walkway, which led to the 3 bedrooms; I also noticed the talisman on the wall. I tried to sense if there were any energies coming from the talisman, but there was nothing except  some writings.

At the end of the walkway, I took a look around the space through my 3rd eye, and found the costumed lady spirit standing near the windows in one of the rooms. I asked the spirit what it really wanted, and she told me that all she wanted was to dance for someone.

I then questioned her again where was she from, and she showed me a scene where she was staying in a village area in rural Thailand. The dressing of the people looked ancient, and I saw her as a child learning the art of dancing in some kind of a school. 

And later the scene fast forwarded years later when she was all grown up and was selected to dance during a festival for the Gods. But misfortune struck, a few days before her performance, she fell terribly ill and died before she could showcase her dance recital.

I asked her how old was she exactly, because I was curious to know which era she came from. She told me that she has been around for more than a hundred years, but had no idea how old she is. I was amazed that a ghost that was more than a hundred years old could look so young. So she showed me her ‘real age’, and I finally concluded that what she said was true.

So I ask her, since Nathan was too afraid to enjoy her dance performance, may I have the honour to watch her performance? She was more than happy to grant me a performance.

The dance recital was just beautiful, and this was the 1st time I saw the real traditional Thai dance that was meant for their Gods.  After her dance recital, the spirit asked if I could help her to move on from this plane, I told her I would be glad to help. I called for the ‘immigration department spirit guides’ to assist her.  To my surprise, the spirit guide that came through was that of the spirit’s perception – an underworld Thai God. I thanked the lady spirit and the spirit guide, and both of them went into a light opening.

I later told Nathan about what I communicated with the lady spirit and he confirmed that that’s what the medium told him too. But not the part about where all she wanted was to dance for someone.

A few weeks later, Nathan messaged me and told me that the spirit was gone for good. And he had been busy dating someone special after the incident.

Status: Case Closed on June 2017
