Case File 032 - An Uninvited Tenant

Wandering spirits tend to find cold and dark places to stay in, especially when the place has lots of stagnant energies and where children stay. This is very common, as wandering spirits feed on light energy (阳气) from unprotected humans. 

A friend, Lionel, asked me to help him to take a look at his sister’s flat, as his nephew had been encountering disturbances in the night –  his blankets would be folded and neatly laid on the chair by no one in the household, and he has reported seeing a shadowy figure standing near his bed in the middle of the night. 

I arrived near Lionel’s sister’s estate and noticed that the surrounding area was filled with old and stagnant energies. At the doorstep, I noticed that the surrounding area felt damp and cold.  

When I walked into the flat, I noticed more unsettling energy in the room on the left. Right in front was the family altar . 

I did an energy scan of the altar, and found that the altar did not have any energy in it (神没有座位). This meant the family had been praying to an empty idol. 

While it is customary for most families to have an altar with deity statues, some were not aware that their altar were 'empty' until something happened. 

I told Lionel to assist by preparing a purifying solution to be placed in the room after I cleared out the spirit. While Lionel was readying the purifying solution, I went into the affected room and cleared the wandering spirit from the space.  

I then placed a protection crystal in the room to keep the space safe, and I asked Lionel to bring in the purifying solution and place it in a specific corner of the room. 

I told Lionel and his sister to keep watch on the purifying solution. If the color did not change for a week, then all should be well. 

Lionel and his sister thanked me for my help, and during the week itself, there were no more incidents or strange encounters. 

Keeping one’s environment clean and uncluttered, bright and fresh are ways to prevent wandering spirits from taking up residence in the space.
