Case File 029 - Not Ready To Cross Over
Just like the 2005 TV series Ghost Whisperer, there are spirits that are stuck in this realm and cannot move on due to ‘unfinished business’ before death.
A friend of mine, Winson, told me that his dad, who had passed away two years ago, seemed to be disturbing his mother and his sister at home. His sister reporting feeling someone watching her while she was doing the dishes, and his mother would feel that someone is in the same room with her.
Winson asked if I could help him take a look, and I agreed.
When I arrived at his parents’ home, I was able to meet his mother, who slowly made her way from the kitchen to the living room to join us for the conversation.
I informed Winson that someone, a spirit, is hiding inside the master’s bedroom. Winson’s mom, Mrs. Wong, immediately responded, “Yes! Yes! You are right, I felt someone. I think it’s my late husband, he’s always inside my bedroom.”
“Can you ask him out and tell him to leave?” Winson suggested.
I sensed that the spirit had some unfinished business with the family, and it has something to do with some misunderstanding between Winson’s wife and his sister.
Winson revealed before his father’s passing, his wife and sister got into a huge fight and neither one is speaking to one another. This made it difficult for Winson to come by to visit his mother. This meant Mrs. Wong had not seen her grandchildren for almost two years now.
I knew the only way for his father’s spirit to let go and leave was to have his wife and sister reconcile. Without the resolution of their fight, his father’s spirit will not be able to rest, and this would affect his mother’s health too.
Winson asked if it was possible for me to send his father’s spirit off, but I told him that will not work at all if the issues holding him here were not dealt with.
Winson sat his wife and sister down and persuaded them to reconcile for his mother’s sake, and allow his father’s spirit to move on.
The same weekend, Winson’s wife and sister met before the ancestral tablets and promised Winson’s father that they will make peace from now on. Winson would also come more often with his children to visit their grandmother.
The day after the reconciliation, his mother and sister reported they no longer felt the spirit’s presence.
